The lower bearing in the drive side arm of my 10+ year old Arch Supremes has given up the game and unfortunately has severely cracked. I pulled the arms for an overhaul and the cartridge cracked when I was pulling the arms off. The inside surface of the bearing stayed on the brake boss and the outside of the bearing is stuck and slightly cracked where it was pressed into the brake arm. Does anyone know how to properly extract and press in a cartridge bearing in this brakeset or is there anyone out there with one of the original manuals for these brakes? The only bearing extracting tool at my LBS is too large to fit into the inside diameter of the bearing. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated. Thanks, K
Here's the url for what the version I have. I can upload pictures if it will help.
