Anyone running a 7" or 8" with MX pro Marzocchi

Is anyone running a larger rotor than 6" on a MX pro. I have an 04 and am looking for more braking power from my Hayes Mags. I ride mostly aggressive XC and just want to never have to use more than one finger to get the power I want. I know Mar says they don't recommend it since they only have 30mm lowers but my thought is either way I am putting the same force into the wheel with either setup, I am just putting two fingers on with the 6 to clamp down. I read about fork flex and possible accelerated bushing wear but don't buy totally into it. Does anyone have experience with this combo and have they had any problems?

2003 Marzocchi MX Pro with Avid BB7 185mm brakes on an On*One Inbred. Works great.

I have used an 185mm rotor on a 04 MX Comp ETA and currently on an 04 Marathon SL (same chassis as the MX) without issues. I can see it flex a bit when I brake, but I also weigh about 215lbs
