    Anyone ever tried these?...

    http://discbrakeadapters.com/fs_show....php?item_id=4

I'm actually trying to put discs on a Litespeed Blue Ridge, but came to ask those that know disc brakes.

    Thanks,
    TF

A month or so ago a few people said they liked it. I bought a set for my SS, but I'm not going to use it because it looks a bit too cumberson with horizantal drops. I would have had to loosen a total of 6 bolts to remove my rear wheel.

With verticial drops it should be fine (just have to unscrew the skewer).

In fact, I'll sell you one for $40 including standard shipping and throw in an adaptor they gave me that replaces your canti brake stud with a hose/cable guide (I paid $50 plus shipping). Alternatively would trade for a rear 8/9 speed wheel (for rim brakes) or a set of 9 speed shifters.

    PM me if interested.

Tried them on a 96? litespeed Obed

3-4yrs ago i thought they were a POS. did not fit well and ended up returning it.
FYI in asia they cost less than $20, so $49 is one heck of a markup
