New question here. Any suggestions for brakes with reversible noodles

I found the Avid SD Ultimates can run the cable from either side of the frame. They are pricey, but may be worth it. Any other brands that are ambidextrous?

Take a look at the highend Cane Creek Direct Curve V-brakes. The cable can be run from either side, plus there's no noodle.

Haven't tried'em myself, I just dig their look.

    Paul too

Motolite Z's can be swapped (actually, the arms swap). If you thought the avids were expensive though, you haven't seen anything yet. Paul's go for about $115 a wheel. Damned pricey for a V brake, Beautiful though.

Thanks for the suggestions. Both the Avid and Paul units pop up on e-bay and some discount e-tailers. Cane Creek are a bit harder to find, so I will likely avoid those.

EMT, SRAMs are riveted and not reversible. They are also dropping the product since they bought Avid. Kind of a shame since IME the SRAM v-brakes had more power and better lifespan (I ran a set of 7.0 for 2 years and 9.0 for a year).
