    Any ex-Gustav users here?

Anyone here used Gustavs in the past and switched to a lighter brake for your DH / FR rig?

What did you switch to? How does your choice compare the the Gustavs. Any times you wished you kept the Gustavs?

I still use my Gustavs on one DH bike. I have never been a fan of the levers though. So I bought saint levers and kept my Gustav calipers. No issues after 18 months, I love the set up.

Hope M4 does the trick. They perform like the Gustav, but are much lighter.

hmm, I never found the M4 even close to the same power as the Gustavs. Significant lighter yes, good modulation yes, but the mind blowing power never.

Anyone have any experiences w the new XTR trails? guy at the LBS says they are as good - but I am skeptical......
