    Alligator Universal Bleeding kit better than Hayes?

    You can DIY (do it yourself) for much less.

    Big syringe: $1 at vet or hardware store.
    Tubing: 50 cents
    DOT fluid: $2 for a lifetime worth as opposed to Hayes charging $$$$$ for so little.

    I gave my Hayes kit away. The stupid squeeze bottles are so pathetic compared to a syringe you can push and pull fluid and air with.

    All you really need is the syringe. The metal adapters appear to to replace the bleed screw with a fitting for the hose. If I worked in a bike shop it would be money well spent. All you need to do to seal the bleeder is, wrap some teflon tape on the threads. I use the hayes bottle as a catch bucket, works good for that and nothing else.
