Adding 180 mm rotor up front

I am thinking about adding a 180 mm rotor up front and am wondering how easily this can be accomplished. Is there just some sort of adapter that I would need to raise the brake caliper? Thanks for the input.

    Pretty simple....

just get the appropriate adapter for your brakes and the rotor. Mount them according to instructions, recenter the caliper and you're good to go. It's usually best to get an adapter made by the manufacturer of your brakes. There are those out there that are cross compatable, but the best insurance that everything will work together properly is to stick with the company that made the brakes to begin with. As long as you get the correct adapter and the right sized rotor you'll be fine.

Yeah I figured I just needed an adapter to raise it up. Just couldn't seem to find anything on it and probably wasn't looking hard enough. Thanks for the quick reply and couldn't come from a better MTBR ambassador. Love the signature or what have you btw.
