    2012 XT with Magura rotors...

Hi, I have a pair of Magura Louises with Ventidisc rotors, but I'm planning on changing them. Can I keep the Magura rotors? Or do I need to go with Shimano?

Magura rotors are normally thicker (2.0mm) than average rotors (1.8mm).

I don't know how that can mess with the Servo-thingy on the XT's. Probably messing with the contact point.

Other than that, I don't think you should have any issues. Magura rotors have (normally) a wider braking surface than Shimanos so you will not have the pads hitting the rotor arms.
