Between those two I would go with the Marta SL's. I have the 08's and they are the best brake I've used. Lotsa power and they look the shizznit. Ever conside the Avid Juicy Ultimates?
all rotors are pretty much self-cooling. it's not really that big of a problem unless you're doing DH runs; if you get the bike and you overheat your rotors a ton, get bigger rotors. but i don't think you'll need them.
besides performance and whatever else, don't the elixir's beat the marta's for adjustability? but i'm biased, i have the elixir's, and my bf has the marta SL's which i refuse to try
edit: guess i should give my opinion on the elixir's. they have a ton of power, great modulation. i am running 160 rotors front and rear, which stop so much better than a juicy and hayes setup with 185 mm rotor up front i tried before . never could do 1 finger braking with any other brakes.
double edit: i must admit that i've been having noise issues with the elixir's, although performance has not been affected in any way
why do you post the weight in grams of everything on your bike? Get a life dude. Both brakes are pimp. Avids are stiffer, maguras are way easier to set up.

What are you talking about fool?!?!?!? I just copied it over from program the bike shop uses... sounds more like you need to get a life and worry about yourself.
