    Is 140g or 0.31 lbs a bunch for one disc (brake)

    Seems really high to me. Talking about the ROTOR only. They are base Shimanos, but I don't really know what to compare them to. Having two 160 discs weigh 0.6 pounds seems like a bunch. Don't know though.
    Thoughts?

    Its not a lot for a shimano rotor....however in the general scheme of things its quite heavy.
