    $20 for adapters?

I see that Jenson has the adaptors for the shimano hydraulic disk brakes for $19 each.

Does anyone sell them for less than that? I am looking for 160mm adaptors to fit a 2004 fox talas (IS?) and a 2006 redline monocog frame (IS too I think).

Hayes or Avid adapters SHOULD fit. I say "should" because sometimes the caliper bottoms on the adapter before you can tighten it, or the tabs on the pads hit the adapter. Nothing a little Dremeling or filing can't fix...

I just bought a set of LX for the rear of my Jekyll. The guy sent a front adapter. I borrowed the one off my wife's bike which has Hayes brakes and it worked fine. I ordered her a new one from Pricepoint for about $16.

Figure out the exact adapter that you need, then try Ebay.

$19 is cheap IMHO. My Magura Gustavs were 3x as expensive (admittedly there is much more to a Gustav adapter).
