    New trailfox TF 29

Will frame only be available in the US? Timing on first frames? US MSRP on the XX1 version and frame only?

Cool video, and didn't even need "star" power nor crazy-epic scenery. Let the bike sell itself. The specs speak for themselves...

Can't wait to see availability on frames...

this looks like a very very nice bike. I hope I can test ride one soon. Or should I say "Damn you BMC, now there is one more bike I want so much!"

the geo is on every site
abp is a bit like DWL generation 1 or 2. Not so close to the current. Pretty close to Giant maestro or banshee KS link

Any updates on when this bike will be available ion the US? Frame only option? Alloy version? This bike looks like it really ticks all the right boxes (at least on paper); surprised there is not more talk of it...

Surely you jest. That would be over $5400!!!! for frame only???!!!

If that is the case, I'm glad they don't make an XL.

The frame is actually $5000 USD here in the states so you're better off buying a complete. They run fairly big so depending on how tall you are, a large might work. For instance, the reach on the L Trailfox is actually a bit longer than the reach on an XXL Tallboy LTc and the TT is about the same as an XL.

Oh, $5000. That's more like it

Yea, I tested a XXL LTc and own a TBc. Santa Cruz runs small and even the XXL LT is a little short for me. That thing is the bomb though and I was riding through the rocks and trying to pick the roughest lines and it was just eating up everything. I have a feeling the new Trailfox would be similar. I just can't see shelling out that much for just a frame. That is way out there when compared to all the others...even Spech which I thought was high.

Listing the model number on the frame is nothing more than bragging rigths for whoever buys the most expensive model. Personally I shy away from manufacturers who does it that way. Tacky is what it is.

That being said, the trailfoxes look great on paper and I really want to try one out.

It is available now for ordering at BMC retailer bike shops. Alloy version is TF03. I had a chance to demo it when the BMC truck made its rounds around the area in the past few months: definitely an awesome but PRICEY bike (the TF01 with XX1 MSRP $8K which is the one I tried, with XTR near $12K)! Great 29er and much too fun!

    I have one on order.

I plan on puting a Pike on it instead of a fox. Since the pike is shorter, do you guys think i should go with the 160mm version ?

The 160mm Pike totally ROCKs on this bike. I would not have any reservations about making that switch...
