    Longer fork on Fourstroke?

    Hi!

I would like to replace my stock 100mm Fox fork with 120mm Manitou Tower. This will rise the front end by 30mm (Tower has 10mm larger axle to crown distance than Fox).

Do you think that would still be okay? Or will the handling suffer too much?

Given that BMC spec's a 120mm on the FS trailcrew versions, you should be good to go.

Not sure about the offset specs though.

    Longer fork on Fourstroke?

The Trailcrew versions made me think about this conversion. I'm just worried about the extra 10mm that Manitou forks have over Fox forks in crown to axle distance.

Manitou also has 3mm smaller offset (51mm vs 48mm). That would further slow down the steering?
