I assume they want to move everyone to Speedfox and the hardcore guys still can get the FS01 frame. 5-in travel seems to be more the norm these days than 4 in travel.

I really really want to buy a FS02. Some bike shops still have a couple lying around but they are hard to find. If you know any good deals let me know!

Thanks for the insights. That sounds reasonable (definitely true). Also, it occurs to me that perhaps the hydroformed aluminum 02 is more expensive to tool and make than the carbon 01, and the 01 can be priced higher because it's carbon.

I'll keep in mind your interest. What size?

You should take a look at www.bikepalast.com(Austrian webshop). There are some FS02 frames for an extremely low price(400 euro's inc. rp2, or 200 ex rp2).

I have ordered one, and it's waiting right here to be built into a complete bike

I found my BMC hardtail frame at http://www.bernhardkohl.at/ (part of www.bikepalast) - I asked them to ship to Denmark. No problem.

    My bike: Bmc Te01

My LBS said that BMC still had a stock of FS02 frames in their warehouse.... I might see if I can get my hands on one of these guys.
