    2012 Fourstroke FS01

My new BMC. Love the Geometry for my type of riding. Feels perfect. X-Fushion fork, was recommended to me after dealing with warranty issues with one of the bigger companies....Love it. Plush. Dialed right in. Mavic Crossmax ST's, Race Face Deus Cockpit, XT Dyna-sys Drive Train from front to back, Avid BB7's (That's right, Mechanical's Baby!!) Crank Bros Candy 3's, Maxxis Ignitor up front, Maxxis Crossmark on Back. She rolls!! Just over 23lbs. I LOVE THIS BIKE

anybody know where the frame number on a BMC bike would be to register online for warranty? Looked at the bottom of my TE01 29er and there is one on the bottom bracket, one one the downtube next to the bottom bracket and a shorter one on the chainstays...

Man, I've ben on here since 2008 and I've never made a post? How is that even possible? Oh well... I use to have a BMC road bike. These days I have BMC Team Elite TE01. I'll post some pics once I'm allowed to do so.

Wow, do you live somewhere incredibly flat? Single ring up front and what looks like a road cassette?

Well, not exactly. We do have hills,I just don't do very much climbing so I rid myself of some dead weight. The cassette is a Shimano Ultegra 11t/21t which is more than sufficient for any climbing I will run into.My LBS actually suggested the change when they noticed that I was only wearing out the first 4-5 gears on the mountain cassette I had on my bike before this one.Basically the same reason I went 1x in front,I NEVER used the granny ring and very rarely used the big ring.I am thinking about going with a 34t ring in front though, just to get a little bit more power than I do with the 32t ring.

Thanks!Though my wife would be more inclined to describe it as"a waste of money".Best bike I have ever owned, though admittedly I have only had six of them.Actually,it's a tie between this bike and the one it replaced,my custom 2001 Schwinn Homegrown which was stolen this summer.I would never have replaced the Homegrown had it not been stolen.

There is some heat in here!

I've been able to ride my new TE01 a little more lately. I love it! Pics to come.
