Apols for linking to my blog, but the write-up is too big to post here:

Very nice, just a few more days for my parts to arrive. For that money, I would've gone with a Pike over the Talas. Very nice build though, have fun and tell all about it.

And it's worthy for the rough, steep stuff ey? Good to know as nobody seems to consider it an all mountain bike but rather a long travel XC bike. Labels aside, I can't wait to build it.

Nice, and that head angle doesn't look as deceptively steep as some of the other photos I've seen of them. My frame should be here mid-week

Yeah the Pike is definitely a better buy, but I am a fashion victim and had to have Mavic Wheels + Fox Forks It really is a dream build for me and they are the two places cash was splashed.

Recently built up my trailfox 01

I won't call mine a long travel XC rig, which it is, but rather a "Recreational Racer". A raceable trail bike. Haven't raced it yet, hope to soon, 65km marathon like race. As a trail bike it gets two big thumbs up, 24lbs build with a RS Revelation 130mm front suspension.
So far it has been my favorite bike ever.

    Final specs

Final specs, well I say final but a 70mm Thomson stem and RP23 are on the cards soon. Still hopefully this helps someone price/spec their build:

Just to let you know, old headsets were pressed in also, it was only the steerer that was threaded.

And it looks like a nice solid build.
