2013 bmc trailfox tf01 sram need feedback

been out of riding for a few years and looking to get back in, I can get a good deal on a new old stock Trailfox TF01 but reviews are a little lacking... anyone with experience with the bike? Also with only S/M/L sizing I would normally gravitate towards a L since that what my last Specized Enduro was but wasnt sure if they size them differently then what Im used to

it was on 08 s-works enduro. i went to specializeds website and they dont show frame specs anymore, im 5'11'' so based on bmcs website i would be a large frame, but im not sure if they run large small or what.

It looks like the top tube lengths are pretty much the same for the 2013 trailfox and the 2008 enduro.

I had a medium 2006 Rockhopper and have a 2012 Trailfox and the top tube lengths are virtually identical.

My buddy had (and now his buddy has) a '13 TF SLX/XT. Good bike. Front fork is a F32 150, which is lacking. He put a F34 160 on it and really liked it.

    Get a 2014.

    The 2013 is really outdated.

they dropped the price on the 2015 xx1 trail fox by $1000.

So you should definitely be able to negotiate and good deal on a 2014 TF01.

C3 bikes in denver has a demo 2014 Large TF01 that they installed a pike and rockshox DH shock on. great bike. i'd offer 4k for it to them and see what they say.

The deal I found was online. $3500 at competitive cyclist for the 13. the 2014 is a 29 which I dont really want. Plus im in washington so even if i offered the money to a shop in denver id still have to buy it sight unseen.. I think i have decided to go in another direction. not enough reviews on the bike to be able to spend the money and take a gamble like that.
