WTB WWLT 2.55 or Racing Ralph 2.4?

Which does everyone think should go on my new bikepacking rig? I know they are both discontinued tires, but they are in my tire bin already! Riding will be a mix of everything, pavement, dirt roads, doubletrack, singletrack. I like high volume and low rolling resistance. I think the Ra Ra is a bit bigger volume wise, but the thin sidewalls scare me a bit for this application. The WWLT should work well and has beefier sidewalls, but is slightly lower volume and almost 200g heavier per tire.

    Thanks, Mark

Well, you will be riding with the weight of gear and my guess is also that you will be riding for quite a distance. I would say go for the lightest and least rolling resistance of the two. If you are going to be riding where sidewall strength is a concern, ie jagged rocks, then I would go with the tougher sidewall tire.
