Water Resources on the Kaibab Plateau

Planning to do some bikepacking next June with a friend. Leaving from Jacob Lake and going counter clockwise down to the North Rim, via NF roads and the Rainbow Rim Trail then more NF roads then onto the Sublime Trail. Then the trip back will be all AZT all the way up to 89.

Has anyone doen this or portions thereof? What can you tell me about water resources?

    Thanks.

    Jake

Used to live in that neck of the woods. There are no permanent streams and not a lot of watershed, especially if you are toward the top of the plateau. The water that you can rely on in June will be livestock tanks and occasional springs. To find out about those contact the Kaibab ranger district office in Fredonia, AZ. They will know status of those.

    Awesome thanks!

Through internet sluething and outright begging (someone who's made the ride before), I have come across two springs (they are on the USGS topo maps) Quaking Aspen and Kanabawits. Both of these are below Rainbow Rim Trail but before you hit sublime.
