New question here. Revelate Viscacha, what can I fit inside?

So I have been messing with rack plus panniers and the pannier has worked fine but I was looking in to replacing it for my commute to work with something like a Revelate Viscacha.

How much can fit in one of these? What I would need to put in it is:

    Shirt
    Pants
    Underwear
    Socks
    Shoes
    Tube
    Rain Jacket (compresses to nothing)
    Spare gloves
    Beanie

Is this all going to be a tight fit? I roll my clothes in my pannier. I have a 19L (too big) used a 13L which was fine for the most part. I can leave my shoes at work M-F but need to take them home for S and S.

    Thanks!

Viscacha is roughly 14L when full extended. If you know how to pack it you should be fine, but you may want to leave your shoes at work when you can for convenience.

You'll get it all in there but it might be wrinkly when you get to work, if appearences matter.

With the roll technique I have not had anything get wrinkled in my pannier. I've used a 13L to commute that worked just fine even with an extra bit of stuff so I think a Viscacha would work.

Not to go away from it, but does anyone recommend another company who might make a less expensive version?

I have a Viscacha and think that you could fit that stuff fine. Roll the clothes and put them in first. Shoes on each side for stability, jacket and misc around the sides as well. I'd estimate the entrance to the bag as 10" across; probably at least 18" deep. Of course it tapers down, but I've been surprised at how much it swallows.

I thought about commuting with mine, but I find it easier to be able the a bag off the bike and take it into the locker room with me. Pulling stuff out of the Viscacha and handling while walking inside is not as convenient (to me).

Yeah that would be an issue. I am the only bike commuter at my work and they let me put my bike in the warehouse which is right next to the bathroom.

    Thanks everyone for the info!
