Ospey Raptop 10 vs Raptor 14

    Hey,

I'm looking at buying a new hydration pack and saw the Osprey Raptor series on the internet.
Since there is no dealer located in the area I'm going to buy it online but can't make decide between the raptor 10 and the raptor 14.

My standard ride is somewhere around 2 - 3 hours, but sometimes do a longer ride of 4 till5 hours.

What do I want to take?
    - 2 inner tubes
    - Patches
    - Pump
    - Multi tool
    - extra layer (longsleeve, raincoat)
    - food
    - 1st aid kit (small one)

Anyone got some advice for me?

    Thanks

A 10L Raptor works well for that size. Coincedently I have one for sale on ebay check it out: Osprey Raptor 10 Hydration Backpack Top Quality 3L Cycling Hiking M L | eBay
I have sized up b/c I am now into bikepacking and wanted quite a bit extra volume.

Every time I go Bikepacking I hate to carry so much on my back. The Raptor 10 is the best option for me. there is still plenty of room even with a 3L bladder full to the top! Osprey is great! I send my packs in to them all the time and they fix whatever needs to be fixed! One of the best gear company's I know!

I would go with the larger one. I use a Manta 20 (larger, 1200cu in) daily for commuting and on the occasional bikepack, and I'm always overstuffing it. If you have less in it, those 4 side straps snug things up down to a lower volume so that your stuff is more secured.

Well just ordered a raptor 10 from CRC.
After rethinking 10 ltr should be room enough for about 90% of my trips.
When taking a daytrip I can always put some extra bags on the bike.

    Thanks for the advice
