    myog shelter

I m in planning process for pyramid shelter, I am pretty clear on everything but cat cur es.
    1. I know i need cat curves at ridges, do i need them for tent perimerer?
    2. Is there a rule of thumb for how deep curve per linear foot? I have cat curve calculator but not sure what to input.

i have been doing some research on this topic myself as well. from what i have read (various myog and diy projects), cat curve depths vary all over the place. most people, after the shelter is done, stated they would go less depth if they were to do it again. hopefully someone with experience could chime-in. i did not see any mention of cat curves for perimeter anywhere so not sure there.
