I have a trip idea, but need a bike.

    The idea...

It's going to be about 120 miles (Out and Back) of pavement with 7000' plus of climbing (one way) and an additional 20 miles of technical singletrack, all this pulling a trailer with skis, ski boots and a pack full of gear.

I'd prefer to not ride a mt bike and my road bike wont cut it. Bikes that I've thought about...

Co-Motion Divide - A little on the pricey side but I really love my Espresso.

Surly Straggler - Nicer price but I'd prefer something with more simple rear dropouts, but not a deal breaker.

Gunnar Rock Tour - A little to much like mountain bike.

What else is out there that I should look at?
I only ride bikes to fill the time when I'm not skiing.

I say just put 'cross tires on your mountain bike. I ride plenty of singletrack on my 'cross bike. Definitely not as fun as riding a MTB on singletrack, but it's a whole lot more fun on the road than my MTB is! Sounds like you've mostly got pavement to deal with, so I'd say do that.
But, if you're trying to justify a new bike, what about a Salsa Vaya or Fargo?

More details on the trip, please.

This more of a challenge to combine everything I like to do in my backyard...

Ride from Portland to Timberline Lodge on pavement.
Walk around Mt Hood on the Timberline Trail.
Climb Mt Hood and ski off of the summit.
Ride home via the Timberline to Town Trail - Pioneer Bridal Trail - Pavement - The Sandy Ridge Trail system - And some more Pavement.

    I'm thinking 4 days.

Fantastic. Given a chance, I'd probably run my YBB with some fast rolling tubeless 2.0's.

Key words = 'given a chance'

4 days seems *way* ambitious, but what do I know?
