For my ride last summer I used Toby's track which worked flawlessly and had the pages of this Colorado Trail Atlas | Colorado Trail Map Pack and Guide Book | Erik The Black's Backpacking Blog photocopied on water proof paper in my map case.
I used the official guidebook and databook to study and get stoked before my trip. I thought Erik's book had a better layout in terms of mapping, elevation profiles, town info etc though. It doesn't have the wilderness re routes in so you'll need to get those out of your guidebook. But I would strongly recommend Erik's book. I don't know the dude or wasn't paid to endorse, it's just a good book.
