    Bag Question

Ive been wanting to make a Marpat frame bag for my El Mar. I was wondering if this fabric would work? Ballistic weight coated Textured Camouflage Nylon Fabric - MARPAT

Also any idea on how I could pay someone to create the bag for me . I dont really know my way around a sewing machine so well. Thanks in advance.

it may work. you;d be better off with X-pac or Cordura...maybe one of the nylons used for hammocks if you want lighter weight....
I do make gear; mostly for recreational sportsmen; (ammo pouches) but am on a break from it all for a while..I am sure that there are other people on here who make gear for bicycles...
here is a better selection with size/denier of material; 500 Denier-725 Denier Cordura will be heavy duty enough for you; its the same material used for their tactical bags; and has a good abrasion resistance, may be water resistant but is not waterproof unless coated on the other side.
