x-post - 120mm travel on a Fisher Gold Series frame?

I currently ride a rigid fork on my '07 Wahoo, but I ordered a cushy fork for racing. It comes in 100mm--which the Wahoo had stock w/ a shiaty Dart 1--but it's adjustable to 120mm. I doubt I'll use it at that travel, but just out of curiosity's sake, would 120mm be too much stress on the frame? The head tube is extremely short, but there's lots of extra butting between it and the downtube.

I'm 145lbs, don't do drops, but love gnarly rock gardens.

I doubt the extra 20mm will stress the frame too much. Especially at your weight. I'm 145 also, and it's nice being able to use equipment to the max knowing it was designed for guys 200+.

You'll probably notice the slacker HA though.

Thanks. Now that I have the fork, I'll just leave it at 100mm. It's already somewhat taller than my rigid fork, even after accounting for sag. Any taller and I don't think I'd like it, and I can't see why I'd need the extra travel, anyway.
