Would this be a good deal on a carbon hardtail?

I've been considering getting a lightweight hardtail and I found a local guy selling a 26" carbon fiber frame hardtail. The frame is generic, he says it's the same brand as used by Sette and Fuji, for whatever that's worth.

    The specs are as follows:

    Fork- Manitou R7 MRD 100mm
Wheels- Mavic Crossmax SLR (front) and Crossmax ST (rear).
    Front derailleur- Shimano XT
    Rear Derailleur- Shimano XTR
Shifters- Shimano XT (front) LX (rear)
Crankset- Shimano Hone upgraded with new lightweight FSA Team rings
    Pedals- Ritchey WCS titanium pedals
    Cassette- SRAM PG990
Brakes- Avid Juicy 5 with Alligator rotors
    Stem- Ritchey WCS 120mm
    Handlebar- Easton CT2 carbon fiber
    Seatpost- Ritchey WCS carbon
    Seat clamp- Salsa lip lock
    Saddle- Fizik Alliante
    Tires-Kenda Klimax.

    20.5 lbs total weight

He's asking $1500 OBO so assuming it checks out when I take a look tomorrow would $1300 be a good deal? I think so but it never hurts to get additional opinions so thanks in advance for your input!

That is a REALLY odd parts collection, looks like he just threw whatever he had laying around on it. The frame can usually be bought on fleabay for under 400$. If you're comfortable paying 1k for that dudes parts bin, go for it.

Brand new one with warranty, does weigh 2 lbs more though, shipping is $49.00.

Good point, although they seem to be pretty good components. I did a rough calculation on the cost of the frame, fork and compenents and it comes out to about $2500. So I'm thinking if I can get it for $1200 it's probably worth it.

Picked it up last night for 1200. Haven't had a chance to ride it yet though but trying like heck to do it today. Can't believe how light this bike is!
