VPP vs Maestro
Just curious to hear which design you guys think is better between these two. Everybody says a DW Link is the best, but isn't Maestro pretty much a DW Link?
Let me hear your opinions!
Not quite on the first question, they are both mini dual link but not the same. There are so many linkage config possibilities. Both VPP and Maestro rely more on correct sag setting, DW Link do not as rider can set it up with less or more psi per their preference.
I own all 3 designs the way I see the difference between VPP and Maestro is VPP is firmer and plusher on the extreme end of the spectrum but Maestro would be better everywhere in the middle.
2 companies are running VPP and even at the same travel ie Intense Spider-Santa Cruz Blur XC or Tracer-Blur LT do not ride the same. So if you have a brand and model in mind put it up and let the discussion begin.
Re: VPP vs Maestro
Maestro is a DW link. Dave Weagle is currently suing Giant for patent infringement (he'll win). Vpp has an s path for the rear wheel. If you are very attuned to your bike, you'll feel the suspension tug at the pedals. I can't stand it.
