    Top tube dent

Trying to figure out how or if I can fix this. It's a Monocog. Bought it like this with the dent right on the top tube. Any input would be appreciated.

hey, new balance hiking shoes. those are the best. i wish they still made the 808at.

i wouldn't mess with that top tube. if i really wanted to watch it, i'd sand off the paint in and around the dent and put a light coat of white paint on it so i could easily see any signs of cracking or flexing. but that wouldn't look so hot.

Yeah, NB shoes are great. Thanks for the input. I'm not worried too much about the aesthetics of it. It's got plenty of chips and rust spots. I might have a local welder wrap and weld a thin tube around it.

Folks that do dent repair on cars use heat to get the dent to pop back out, the tube wants to be round. I think this may be too far gone though. Did you try the frame builder forum, those guys must have some ideas.
