stems with low stack heights
Trying to bring my buddy's old Giant NRS with a 2006 RS reba world cup I had kicking around. I'm in need of a stem with a low stack height, like 30mm or so. Anyone have a recommendation?

I have a Specialized stem that's got a low stack, you may also look for a Sunline stem. Depending on length and bar clamp.

35mm is about as low as they go, several of the FSA stems have a 35mm height, but 40mm is much more common as a standard on stems.

If it uses a traditional headset, you might see if you can find a low stack height Crank Bros headset to give you a little extra steerer.

I had been looking for some of these stems myself, but could never find them. 40 seems the norm now, atleast with standard type stems, as opposed to the AM/FR style stubbies.
I think things went to 40 because of spreading load for carbon steerers.
I could be wrong though...was a while ago I was looking around for them.
