    Steel frame with the following?

what are my choices for a XC-ish steel frame with:

    70ish HA
    4-5inch travel fork
    Decent weight for occasional races

Currently looking at an on-one inbred, would like to find out more before other options available before picking.

I went to checkout the inbreds available at my lbs today

Whats the differences (except for dropouts) between the sand coloured, red & white inbreds? In particular the sand colured vs the white.

Is the sliding dropout burlier as compared to the horizontal dropouts version?

A search on inbred in mtbr lead me to the thought that the white ones (horizontal dropout seen in on-one site) is the V1 of the inbreds and is not as "good" or "new" as the red (sliding) and/or sand coloured (no info).

How true is that? Keep on mind its the XC frame im talking about, not the 456.

Anyone can comment on this before i put my money on one?
