New question here. Putting Giant STP frame on Giant Terrago 2 disc?

    Hi guys!
I own a Giant Terrago 2 disc (2008). It's a great bike, but it's not suited for urban freeride stuff (in which I'm lately very interested). So I thought, is it possible to use a Giant STP frame with all other parts (or most of them) from Terrago 2 Disc?
Thanks for help! (if I get any)

G'day xrok and welcome to the forums.

Your on the right track most parts will transfer right over except possibly the seat post and clamp, You will also need new cables an housing since the routing will probably be different plus its old.

Parts might be able to be transfered over but something else to think about is how long the wheels & fork of a mid range recreational XC bike will last when doing jumps, drops, etc.

I will probably do the frame swap sooner or later, but for now, i have to convince my very strict dad why this swap is a good idea. I know he wont support me -.-

You could be roaming the streets buying an selling drugs, breaking into others property, stealing cars or motorcycles, painting graffiti on buildings, shooting or stabbing people all because your bored.

DaD let the kid ride the bike that fits his needs so he can progress not regress.
