Old GT Talera "Double Triangle frame ??"

Hello,
I picked up an old GT Talera bicycle a while ago and have been using it to train on lately. It's actually a quite nice riding bike even though the frame is a little too small for me, but I figured I would pickup a bigger one sometime in the future and switch out the parts. While looking at the GT mountain bikes(frames), I have noticed that every frame I have seen has the "Triple Triangle" frame. Now, the frame I have has the standard "Double Triangle" frame. I was thinking it was a fake or something like that, but it does have the GT engraving at the end of the top tube.
I have done some research online, but with no prevail.

If anyone knows any details about this frame, please explain??

C'mon now... there's no die-hard GT mountain bike fans out there...
I'm thinking it's a first production run before the "Triple Triangle" frames came out.
What'cha yall think??

Yep, that's it... except mine is white with blue stickers. It has the same grips, brakes, seat, cranks, ect.

Do you know what year it is and why it doesn't have the "Triple Triangle" frame like all the others do??

That bike was only made from 1993 - 1997

yeah, i think so, Yep, that's it... except mine is white with blue stickers. It has the same grips, brakes, seat, cranks, ect.
