    Next Bike

    Hi guys,
I am looking for my next bike. I have found the bike finding process very frustrating. I have ridden a 2011 Trek 6500 hardtail for two years. I absolutely loved this bike, but I have outgrown it. I am ready for a full-suspension bike. I am looking for a all-mountain/trail bike, with a setup that eliminates as much pedal bob as possible. 26 inch wheels is a must, and 100-145mm of travel. All of my 'requirements" can change. Any recommendations?

Most big brands FS offering do not have much or any pedal bob, YMMV. If you are a masher, it'd show up from time to time. If you like trek then you can get the Fuel ex7 or 8, Giant Trance X is another best bang for the bucks both are about 5" travel bike 120mm. If you have more budget then I highly recommend Ibis Mojo Special blend it's about $2600 but you really get a great value. Superlight version carbon frame, 140mm travel.

Add a 29er option and your choices really expand. 26ers are going to be as rare as Unicorn milk pretty soon.

Great! Thanks a bunch. I think I will ride my friend's 29er just to get the feeling. What do you think about Santa Cruz bikes? Particularly the Blurs (Blur LT, Blur TR, Blur XC, and others.)

I have the blur LTc I like it. The bike is very snappy an fun, climb and descend well. That said, I still pick my mojo over the BLTc more often.
