I'm 5'4 and looking for a new mid-level mountain bike. I currently have a trek 3700 13" and it's my first mountain bike, but I've grown out of it and I'm looking for something to grow with. I've been checking out some local bike stores and have a few options that I'd like your opinions on.

What do you guys think? The only bike I've test-rode so far is the Trek and it's just a tiny bit too short for me in the torso (just like my current trek), but it's my understanding that this can be alieviated with a handlebar adjustment? Also, I'd need to buy new shoes and learn to ride with clipless pedals, but I know that it's a great deal. Do you think it's a good enough deal to pass over a 2009 bike?
