    Need help deciding on a preowned bike 2010 Trek Fuel ex 8 or 2011 BMC Speedfox sf03

    I'm looking at two bikes locally and have got as many details on both that I can.

    The first is a 2011 BMC Speedfox sf03
    The bike (to me) seems that it has a decent setup component wise (with a few upgrades). The condition of this one is excellent (like new)

    Here is a link to the standard specs of this one. The changes that were made are;

    -Mavic Crossmax 26" wheels
    -SRAM x7 2x10 crank
    -Easton Bar

    Speedfox SF03 Standard - Mountainbike

    The questions I have about this bike are;
    -I haven't been able to find another model like this for sale anywhere online
    -The rear shock seems to be an off brand?

    The other bike I'm looking at is a 2010 Trek Fuel EX 8 with an upgraded rear shock (Fox rp3)

    This bike is $50 more and a couple hour drive for me to pick up. This isn't a problem with me if it is in fact a better buy..

    This trek is in USED condition. (nicks, and wear). It seems to have been maintained but just used pretty hard.

    In your opinion, which would be the better all around buy?

    Went with the bmc. Picked it up for what I feel is a killer price
