Paid about 3500 Taiwan dollars for the frame headset and seatpost clamp (which translates to about $106 US dollars)
The frame was listed at about 1700 grams.
The paint is thick and well done. The wields look good. The S curves on the stays also look well made. I was pretty impressed by the frames when I saw them in the shop. I'm sure they're OEM for some big name bike companies. My only concern was the weight. The bike shop offered to sell me a higher end frame that would've been 1300g for more but I didn't think a few grams was worth it.
I haven't weighed my bike yet but I estimate the bike to be about 24-25lbs with "heavy parts"
Here are the current specs from parts I had lying around:
Reba Race
Mavic XC717 32 hole XT hubs DT Champion spokes
FSA V-Drive SS crankset
Avid BB5
Hutchenson Pyton Airlite 2.1
Forte SS kit
Is there a Mosso website?
I'm curious about the frames on ebay. I just can't find any info or reviews to know if they are really worth it. How does yours ride etc.
To get a sub 4 pound frame for $106 is pretty good. It looks like a nice frame. Can you take off the v-brake bosses? They kind of detract from the look. Overall it looks like a very clean nice bike. I have seen the Mosso frames on ebay and they all look pretty good. What I don't like is that they have "carbon" frames that are just aluminum frames wrapped with a carbon outer layer. Also they usually have cheesy names like "galloping deer".

There is a Mosso website, I'll have to look it up and post it later. I just got back from my first ride and I'm pretty pleased with the frame overall. One thing I noticed is the frame is VERY stiff. It actually says "High stiffness frame" on the chain stay.. which is true... bad English though which is my only complaint. I had my reservations when I made the purchase but I'm glad I did. Now that I think about it I might have opted for the lighter frame for an extra $25, but my original goal was to have a frame that would last me a long time.

The company made bad full suspension frame, they are not strong enough and too heavy(the system is not exciting). They tried to make their hard trail frame more lighter, they make the tube stork thin and low rigidity. But their products are very cheap(in China), so many Chinese riders are using their products.
PS. Don't buy M3 fork, for your safe.
