    Low Stack Headsets

Other than the Crank Brother options is anyone aware of other low stack standard 1 1/8" headsets?

What does the following warning mean? It comes from the page describing the Extralite.

"Warning: UPPER RADIAL MICRO BEARING CANNOT HANDLE UPSIDE-DOWN LOADS/SHOCKS."

Given the bumps that I hit with a mountain bike, wouldn't shocks come from both directions?

So then you stopped reading...because here is the next sentence

"Suitable for x-c single crown or road forks only."

For $150+ I'll go with the Crank Brothers...not sure my lady would dig that top cap anyway ;-)
