I volunteer for a food bank that was given an Owl Hollow as a donation to sell. I'm a road biker and don't know much about Litespeeds, titanium and mountain bikes.
We need to sell the bike and want to make our dollar go as far as it can while giving someone a reasonable deal. You know the question.
From what I can tell from looking around (bikepedia), this is an Owl Hollow MTS 01. Probably a 1997. It's dual suspension. I looked over the bike pretty carefully and it doesn't look like it's been used very much at all.
Is titanium highly sought after in the mountain bike world?
At the food bank we generally price items at a third of retail. Is this reasonable for this bike and it's vintage? In advance, I appreciate your opinions.
