    k2 lithium 3.0

hows that look? that's about $100 over what i was hoping to spend and $50 over my "max" (you know... the one i told my wife i would try to stay under ) but anyway, it looks like a lot of bike for the price and i'm tempted. whaddya think?

    oh and just found this:

in my budget, looks solid in terms of what it comes equipped with... only beef... acid green lol. beggars can't be choosers i guess.

which of these two would you recommend?

I'm looking at the same two bikes and am leaning towards the K2. The only negative I've read about the lithium is the brakes, but I've read several post from people who were against the Warrior Pro.

I rode the Warrior Pro the other day and it felt like a pretty decent bike for the $. I didn't really like the front fork though. Acid green actually looks a lot better in person. I thought it would be fugly, but was pleasantly surprised.

If you can talk the wife into a little more, the lithium 4.0 has a great component set for the money. I'd buy one but they are out of XL

lithium 4.0 is my vote but if you can't expend to $999, 3.0 is still a good buy
there are several reviews on k2 forum.

most of people hate sole brakes but I don't have big problem yet.
there were several rubbing problems but simple adjustments could solve the problems.
