New question here. Help me compare these bike please, Avanti vs KTM.

So, bottom line is I can get a good discount on either KTM or Avanti. These are the two within my budget, both 29er hardtails. Anyone got much knowledge on both of these bikes, or brands even? Ive seen a few KTM's around at races but I had never heard of Avanti before. They both look similar spec to me. What do you guys think? Thanks!!

Just demo the bikes and buy the one you like.

I can't tell you which bike is better for You. No one can

I won't be able to demo either of them, have to go by reviews and feedback etc.

I would be reluctant to buy a bike that I have not demoed. What if the fit is off? What if I don't care for the way it feels? See, this is what I'm talking about.

Plus, no one knows a thing about you. Tell people what your riding goals are. I mean is this bike going to be a commuter bike or are you planning to take it to the next BC death/endurance race. And what kind of riding is your preferred style? XC finesse or AM bash yer bike and body?

Even so, people can only give an opinion and then you have to take your chances buying semi-blind.

I'll just be going by the geometry and measurements and comparing them to my current 29er.

True ok here's a bit about me . I race endurance races, 24 hour solo racing is my specialty, one of these hardtails will be a spare bike or 2nd bike, as some courses are more suited to a hardtail. My main bike for racing right now is a Rocky Mountain Element 29er. So my main aim this year is to do better in 24 hour racing .

I know I'll be buying semi blind, I accept that risk!
