Help! GT i-drive 5 1.0 or IronHorse MKIII comp

I have narrowed it down to the GT i-drive 5 1.0 with an awesome parts mix, the IronHorse MK III Comp with a nice parts mix and an awesome look and the IronHorse Azure Comp. Has anyone ridden these? I ride all types of trails but don't do lots of drops or jumps, just small stuff. I want a bike that is plush but easy going up hills. I do the occassional race and one 24 hour race a year. I just want an awesome all around bike. I also like in New Hampshire, so lots of rocks and roots. Thanks for any input. Oh, by the way I can get any one of these bikes for around $1,600.

the GT has a much nicer spec, and they're both well suited. The i-drive feels nice, but not quite as nice as the IH. I'd say it's a wash, so whichever feels best to you.

Personally, I would buy the Iron Horse, GT has had too many glitches.
also I would look for a 4 inch travel bike for your use. You should be able to find lots of bikes on sale this time of the year at your local bike shops.

Go to performance and ride them both. It is a matter of fit at that point.
