    Grip Removal

I hope this is the proper place to post this, but yesterday I just bought brand new Easton EC90 SL handlebars and Sette type s lock on grips and was way to excited to see what it looked like. I put the grips on and forgot to put the brake and gear shifters on yet because the grips are suppose to easily come off. I'm now hitting my head off the wall because the end caps wont come off the handle bar! The grip its self is loose and moving yet the end cap wont budge. I would usually apple some heat but these handle bars are Carbon fiber so don't suggest anything that will ruin them please!

Drill a hole in the end cap and use a hook to pop it out.

An awl? Small strap wrench would be ideal. Flathead screwdriver and carefully tap it out.
