That's what I am wrestling with actually - for about $750 I can get a nice Cannondale Hard Tail, but the components on the Sette look way better than what I can get on the Cannondale...
maybe it's just me, but it feels like the post count has gone waaay down in the past few days.
As to your question, it seems to have gotten great reviews, but of course the issue is that you can't try it.
It's a little heavy for a 4" (oh wait 120mm front though, that's a plus), but it's only $1k, and the frame is pretty light. This guy loves it.
If you know anybody with one try it, but it looks pretty solid. Only thing that might suck are the brakes, but juicy 3's aren't that bad.

I can only comment on what I have experience with which is my Cdale F5 which was about 750...I'm a big fan of it but then again it's my first real mountain bike.
Since you've been riding a while maybe you want to upgrade to full suspension to change things up a bit more?
Don't really know what to tell ya.
Maybe put that 1k to an even better hardtail instead of a so-so full suspension bike?
Thanks laxman2001, I am pretty pumped - ordered it last week actually. I'll be blogging my entire Sette experience at this site: http://www.setteriders.com/
If you guys own a Sette bike and want to join in with me on blogging about Sette products and bikes, please join in the conversation. It should be good to have a site dedicated to Sette bikes
I'll be posting pics and riding experience over the next couple weeks at Sette Riders
Cheers, Matthew
