    The Franken Bike

So i built a bike recently with a friend who has alot of bike parts laying around. And here it is.

I think it looks pretty good for a bike that i got for free. Anyways the parts that went into this thing.

    KHS Alite 500 frame
    Surly Rigid front fork
    SDG saddle
    Old Mongoose handlebar
    Specialized Grips
    Sram Shifters
    Avid Rim Brakes and levers
    Mavic front rim w/specialized hub
    ZAC rear rim w/shimano hub
    Specialized crank arm
    Sram rear derailer
    Shimano Front derailer
    Shimano Cassetes
and the rest i didnt even look at.

But yeah its a frankenbike. But it rides well and it was 100% free. Because i was just really making room in my friends garage.

Nice work! Did you have to buy anything? Cables, skewers etc?

    Excellent example of smart recycling

the guy i built it with had a few extra packs of cable from previous projects. The cable housing and skewers were also from older projects.
