    Fork size question.

Hi I have an older mountain bike(threaded headset), when I remove the stem/quill from the head tube it is stamped 25.4 which is 1".

I just want to know what size fork I can get? Is it going to be 1" or 1 1/8" threaded fork?

    thanks for your help!

Fork size question - threaded please help!

If the quill is 1" in diameter then you need a 1 1/8" inch fork. The inside diameter will be 1"
