    Do most bottom brackets have the same thread???

    Do most bottom brackets have the same thread??? Like from the early to mid 90's til now??? Thanks guys.

    Now there are multiple "standards". You have lots of research to do

    Yep, most everything is English/Euro threading just some are 68mm shells and others 73mm. I've never seen an Italian bottom bracket on a mountain bike but doesnt mean that nobody ever did it back in the day.

    What are you trying to accomplish?

    Simple answer: yes.

    there are a few [non]standards, but none of them are threaded.

    The only MTB I've seen that wasn't either 68 or 73mm English thread was one where someone destroyed the threads and reamed it out to take an Italian thread BB.
