DJ setups verse all mountain HT

I'm looking to get on a new bike for something around 800 or 900. I'm also starting to get into a little DJ kind of stuff, but will be riding more trail than jumping. I'm wondering what the weight differences are between a dirt jump frame like a Kona Stuff compared to a Giant XTC or a Cindercone?

Anyone have more sugggestiongs for that price range?

The Giant XTC is a cross country bike. I wouldn't jump it off anything.

I would suggest a Santa Cruz Chameleon - great bike for the jump part, and great bike for the trail.... if you add a fork with travel adjust - you can turn it up for the trail, and down for the park.
