    Cable rub on anodized frame

I recently bought a Salsa Beargrease which has a black anodized frame. I've protected my other painted aluminum bikes from cable rub marks w carefully placed clear tape or rubber cable bumpers. I'm not sure if cable rub is even an issue on ano frame...

Do I need to protect an anodized frame from cable rub damage?

Yes you should take precautions to prevent cable rub on anodized frames.

Yup, my '94 S-Works has an anodized frame, and it's not cable-proof. I've used protective film on it wherever the cable rubs, and it still looks great.

Velcro fuzzy tape works well too.

Vinyl wrap is what I have used. I've used electrical tape and fuzzy velcro as well. ??
