    Ball Park Value of this?

Sorry for such a random question, but I took this in as partial trade and trust the guy... But real life values are different than personal value.

Believe its an 07 or 08 any way to verify this?
    Iron Horse 7-point
Shimano XT gears 2x10 full setup. The rest im not so sure on. I tried to get some detailed pics. Any help getting a value would be great, I plan trying this hobby out, but with a recent ankle injury it might be a little to rough.

A bike like this needs a very specific, small market, buyer. I recently sold some pretty nice bikes in the SF Bay Area and didn't get anything near what I thought they were worth. So I sold them to people I knew for pretty low prices.

The bike you show looks like someone's baby and I'm guessing that they value it highly. That, however, is very different from what it will actually fetch.

My call? Lucky to get $1000-1200, tops.

    Try on Pinkbike for assessments.
    I don't rattle.

Yea, Mike's right, Iron Horse not a super popular recognized brand, at least 6-7 years old. That segment of bikes is changing greatly. Hard to sell. Looks kinda dinged up. I'm saying $750 if that. Sorry if that's not what your friend expected..

I think $750 max is about right. Iron horse was a good company but is no more and any frame parts are going to be next to impossible to source. Nice bike none the less.

Here's what I'd do...put it on on pinkbike for what you need to get out of it and you'll likely get offers. If you don't get the $$ you want then you could try parting it out. The components are definitely solid but nothing special.

I think the best way to get your money out of it is to ride it into the ground

Yeah posted it up, sadly just riding around is hurting my ankle. Laid my motard over on my foot 2 months ago. 3 toes, part of the foot, and thrashed my ankle. Cant even disc golf right now.
